How to File a Complaint

You have the right to express complaints about the care and services provided by Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute. All complaints will be investigated in a fair and appropriate manner. We encourage you and your family to voice your concerns. If you are a customer of PerformCare, you may request additional assistance from the Dauphin County Mental Health/Intellectual Disabilities (MH/ID) Program Administrator and PerformCare.

Steps to follow:

  1. Talk to a staff member.
  2. Talk to the Department Manager.
  3. Talk to the Patient Representative (717) 782-6826.
