Penn State Health Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health

The Department of Psychiatry provides psychiatric consultation to patients at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and a wide range of treatment options in various outpatient settings. Additionally, they have partnered with the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute to provide inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services for mature adults, adults, children and adolescents, including those with intellectual disabilities.

Services provided through Penn State Health and the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute

  • Specialized treatment programs for mood, eating, sleep, autism spectrum, attention deficit hyperactivity, conduct, substance use and psychotic disorders
  • Specialized treatment settings include inpatient, outpatient, and partial (day) hospital programs
